Overview

There are two types of Locations in Fillet: Inventory locations and Shipping Locations.

• Inventory Locations

  An Inventory Location is a location where your Ingredients are stored.

• Shipping Locations

  A Shipping Location is a location where your Orders can be delivered.

Inventory Locations and Shipping Locations are separate types of locations. They are used in different parts of the Fillet apps.

• If you want to see your Inventory locations, go to your Inventory.

• If you want to see your Shipping locations, go to your Orders.

Working with multiple Locations

Some locations are only Inventory Locations. Some locations are only Shipping Locations.

Some locations are both.

You can use the same name to create an Inventory Location and a Shipping Location.

However, even though they have the same name, they are still separate types of locations. This means they are used separately in different parts of the Fillet apps.
