Recipe Units
Overview
Recipe Units are a type of measurement unit for Recipe Yield.
Yield is the amount produced by a Recipe. Yield can be measured using mass units, volume units, or abstract units.
Recipe units are a special type of Abstract unit.
About Recipe Units
Recipe Units belong to one Recipe only and are not used for other Recipes.

Details and options
Recipe Units are similar to Ingredient Abstract units. However, they have different uses.
- Ingredient Abstract units are used for Ingredient Prices: $5.00 per box of apples, $10.00 per bottle of juice.
- Recipe Units are used for Recipe Yield: 20 pieces of cake, 10 plates of noodles.
Create a new Recipe Unit
iOS and iPadOS Android Web
- In a Recipe, tap on the Yield unit.
- Select Abstract Units.
- Tap , then enter a name for the new unit.
- Tap Done to save.
Edit Recipe Units

- In a Recipe, tap , then tap Edit units.
- 
                                        To create a new Recipe Unit, tap , then enter a name for the new unit.
                                        You can specify conversion between this Recipe unit and mass units, volume units, or both. Or you can set it up later. 
- 
                                        Tap an existing Recipe Unit to modify its name and modify or specify conversion.
                                        You can specify conversion between this Recipe Unit and mass units, volume units, or both. 
- To delete an existing Recipe Unit, swipe left and tap Delete.
